Using the Webhelp Assistant
Ask Planon, the Planon Webhelp features an AI assistant that can answer questions based on the Webhelp content.
You can start the Webhelp assistant by clicking Ask Planon in the Webhelp's bottom right corner.
When using the Ask Planon, it is good to know that:
Natural Language Processing: Users can interact with the assistant using natural language queries to find answers and summarize content efficiently.
It performs best when questions are asked in English.
Although it can respond in other languages, it might not always provide the best answer.
It performs best when you actually ask a question rather than just entering a few keywords.
Expanded Data Sources: The assistant now searches through an expanded repository, including release notes (new features and patches) from the past 1.5 years, upcoming release information, customer ideas, and in-progress issues.
Contextual Linking: Source references in responses now provide direct links to the relevant high-level topics within the WebHelp and specific items in the Release Notes.
Its knowledge is limited to explaining/using/configuring features in the Planon application. It is unaware of Planon organizational processes or procedures.
It will try to answer your question, but if it cannot find an answer, it will say so.
You can also rate an answer by clicking the Thumbs up or Thumbs down icons. This is helpful in analyzing a response.
You can also click Copy, to copy a response so you can paste it somewhere else.
