Connect for BIM
This table lists the Autodesk Revit and TheModus Model Extender versions that are supported by Connect for BIM.
TheModus Model Extender
TheModus Model Extender is used to:
Classify BIM models: Sort and categorize all elements according to standards.
Structure information: Logically organize all data within the model.
Exchange information: Easily export data to other software, such as the Planon application.
This leads to improved collaboration, higher quality, and more efficient work.
To use TheModus Model Extender, users need a version specifically developed for their installed Autodesk Revit version. Each version of the Extender is tailored to the API of the corresponding Revit version. Using an incorrect combination may result in errors or malfunctions.

Compatibility
Why is this compatibility important? The Autodesk Revit application programming interfaces (APIs) may change between versions. For this reason, a specific Extender version is required for each new Revit release. This ensures seamless functionality and full support through Connect for BIM.
*•    As of Revit 2017, Revit Architecture functionality is embedded in Revit itself.
•    Requirements apply as provided by Cadac's TheModus Model Extender.
